Tour Duration : 2 days and 1 night
A 45‐minute speedboat ride from Bandar Seri Begawan to Bangar, zipping through meandering rivers lined with mangroves and nipah palms. From Bangar, its a short drive and a little trek through the jungle to Sumbiling Eco Village. After settling in, the rest of the day will be spent interacting with villagers who will take you wild vegetable gathering, on a night forest walk after dinner and to visit their longhouse.
The next day, after breakfast, embark on a temuai (a local longboat) ride up the Temburong River to the National Park, with rapids and strong currents for a true adrenalin rush! During low tide, you might even have to come out of the temuai to push it along! Upon arrival, a challenging trek takes you up to the Canopy Walkway ‐ a climb up present the different levels of the rainforest below the shady canopies, topped with a breathtaking vista of the surrounding greenery. Return to temuai, and head for a beautiful waterfall, where you can have a swim, before returning to the Eco Village. Once close by, you may also opt to float on a rubber tube back to the Eco Village (tube and raft use is chargeable). Freshen up then enjoy a hearty lunch prepared by local villagers. Some relax and photo time before departing for Bangar, and returning to BSB by speedboat.
Rough Itinerary
DAY 1
14:00 Meet at Kianggeh jetty, BSB. Speedboat ride to Bangar town, Temburong
16:00 Welcome by local guide at Bangar jetty. Overland transfer to Eco Village
16:20 Arrive at Eco Village. Light refreshments, briefing & check in to your camp
16:50 Gather wild vegetables (for dinner) with villager
17:30 Back to Eco Village. Swim in river, before shower and get ready for dinner
18:30 Dinner
20:00 Night forest walk. Visit longhouse
21:30 Walk back to Eco Village
22:00 Light refreshments. Prepare for nightʹs sleep
22:30 Lights out
DAY 2
08:00 Breakfast & get ready for the day (flexible)
10:15 Depart by motorised temuai to National Park
10:45 Arrive at National Park. Begin trekking up hill to the Canopy Walkway. Trek down to river, depart National Park, visit waterfall
13:00 Back to Eco Village. Freshen up, lunch, relax & photo time
14:30 Overland transfer to Bangar. Speedboat ride to BSB

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Recommended Attire:
For trekking, light, easy‐to‐dry shorts or suitable covered pants, T‐shirt, shoes with good grip, cap or hat.
For swimming, tubing or other water‐bound activities, swimwear or other suitable clothing, sandals (not
slippers) or rubber shoes.
Packing List:
Bring light rucksack, changes of clothes, sun lotion, hat/cap, raincoat, camera, binoculars (especially for bird
watchers), small towel to wipe sweat during treks, bath towel, toiletries, swimwear, insect repellent (non‐aerosol
type) such as Tiger Balm, snacks like energy bars, chocolate, sweets and drinks (any isotonic drink or packets of
